Imagine! Children's Museum

At the very beginning of summer Matt and I took Beckett up to the Imagine! Children's Museum in Everett. Even better was that my work paid for my admission because I had to conduct a risk management visit for an upcoming field trip for summer camp! If you haven't been before, let me tell you it's quite an experience! When I have gone in the past it was on a field trip with 60 plus school age kids so going with my own child made for a much more enjoyable experience! Beckett got to experience many things this day! He was a cowboy, a farmer, a bank teller, a bus driver, a pilot, a veterinarian, and a lighting and sound director for a theater. He had a lot of fun and I have to say I'm not as anti Children's Museum anymore since I can go with my family! (I just hope I don't have to go on any more field trips there in the near future!)

Spring Rewind - Radio Flyer Fun!

Beckett got a cool ATW Radio Flyer wagon from his Grandma and Grandpa for his birthday! He was excited to test it out when the weather got warmer and so towards the end of June, he took it out for spin! Needless to say he loved it! The crazy kid even tried to ride while standing!! Matt and I are going to have our hands full!

Spring Rewind - Gretchen and Owen's Wedding!

Who is this sharp dressed guy?! :) Beckett was a ring bearer in his godparent's wedding this past June and hammed it up for everyone as he walked down the aisle. Such a beautiful day and one of the most fun wedding's I have been to!

Spring Rewind - Brown Family Day!

Here's another spring rewind post! I believe it was sometime in May that Matt and I decided one Saturday to have a family day. It was the first warm and sunny day of the spring season and our original plan was to spend the day at the zoo but after circling the parking lots for over 45 minutes, we scrapped that plan and headed over to the Seattle Center. They were having a family festival that day and we enjoyed walking around the Center grounds. We stopped at the hula-hoop exhibit and Beckett LOVED watching his daddy try to hula-hoop! It was quite the sight... imagine a 6'3, 145 pound guy sporting a hula-hoop! (I'd laugh too!) Needless to say, Family day was a success and Beckett got to try hula-hooping for the first time! :)
