Hawaii or Bust (cont)
Maui or Bust!
Beckett Takes Flight!
Beckett went on his first vacation since he was born. 6 months of life so far can be tough (being born alone is a call for a vacation!) so of course when Matt's co-worker had his wedding in Maui, we decided not only would it be a great getaway for us but Beckett could also benefit as well for some much needed rest and relaxation! Not only would this be a first vacation for Beckett, it would be his first airplane trip ever! (a VERY big first for us as parents as well!) Overall Beckett did great! On the way there he slept two times and all together slept for half of the flight! On the way back however, Beckett decided he didn't want to go to sleep. Too many faces to distract him, and beverage carts wheeling by! He only slept about an hour and decided on this flight it was time to exercise the vocal chords and see how high he could squeal. He didn't cry, but to those passengers who have little patience for kids or babies, this was not an ideal time for Beckett to show off his amazing vocal talents. :( Mommy kept covering his mouth and shhhing him. Poor guy! He was just so excited he couldn't stop babbling and squealing. I wonder what he has in store for the passengers on board the airplane we are taking to Cape Cod next month????

Lucy!!!!
Actually, this was not the talented work of the Luce! On Wednesdays I work from home and today I was amazed at how much work I was able to do as he sat happily and quietly in his activity jumper. Turns out the little turkey was secretly eating the tag I forgot to remove from his toy he loves so much. I should have figured something was going on because while he enjoys his bouncy time, he is now able to roll all over the room so being confined only lasts so long. I think he's trying to learn to crawl which scares the crud out of me! Gone are the days I can leave him on his play mat and know I don't have to worry about him getting into things. If he's anything like me when I was little... well, lets just say Matt and I are in TROUBLE! I love the immobile age and it seems like its coming to a swift end! :(
